Once I was committed to the design, I started to gather materials. As my very first purely sculpted model, I was recommend a Fimo/Scupley with a tinfoil core approach. Ended up going with sculpey since I had a nice 40% off of one item coupon at a local Michaels and got a nice big chunk of it, probably more than I'll ever need.

The Great Unclean One: Pt 1

Heya folks! So I recently started the centerpiece for my Apostles of Contagion force, a scratch built Great Unclean One.

Like most projects, I start off with a sketch or some conceptual art to generate my thoughts, as well as have a reference while working to look at.For my Great Unclean One, I wanted to set him apart from other ones, giving him a distinct appearance, but also having him quickly identifiable as a Great Unclean One.

Showcase Project #1: D&D wall

So I got a new job two weeks ago at my local comic/wargaming store Showcase Comics. I have been going there for about 10 years now and finally acquired myself a spot among it's ranks. My first week there I took on an awesome project which is for the most part complete. Check it out.
